Set in the French Alps near the Swiss border, the Savoie region offers dramatic mountain landscapes, clear glacial lakes, and villages shaped by centuries of history. This 9-day, 8-night land journey is based in Annecy, with a single stay at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the shores of Lake Annecy, allowing for relaxed exploration of the surrounding region. Excursions include a visit to the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard and a private tour of a traditional bell foundry, along with scenic outings that reveal alpine peaks, a glacier, an ice cave, and a river-carved gorge.
