Trip Highlights
Four nights at the iconic Planters Inn (a Relais & Châteaux property) located on the corner of Market and Meeting streets, in the heart of Charleston’s Historic District.
Drayton Hall Concert where Ann Caldwell and The Magnolia Singers will perform traditional African American spirituals in one of the nation’s oldest and most historic plantation homes. This beloved and important tradition will include a private tour and wine reception just for The Flying Longhorns.
A seasonal progressive dinner where guests will be transported by horse-drawn carriage to three historic properties.
Visits to the great museum houses decorated for the season by local designers.
A Christmas Candlelight Service at The Citadel. The South Carolina Corps of Cadets will perform lessons and carols in the grand, Gothic Summerall Chapel. An absolute favorite annual tradition for Charleston’s residents and visitors.
Two unique walking tours with a local historian that focus on the city’s history and architecture.
